How Phone Operator works

Phone Operator works without root on Android 8+. Its Accessibility Service executes only user-configured gestures after you start them. The overlay is used for controls and markers, so you can position an action and keep Start, Pause, and Stop available above the target app.

Phone Operator does not collect, store, or upload screen content. Action positions, timing, ranges, and saved scripts remain on the device. Review the full privacy policy before enabling permissions.

One UI settings

Use Settings search when labels differ

Samsung commonly places downloaded accessibility services under Settings, Accessibility, Installed apps or Installed services. The exact labels can change with device model, region, Android version, and One UI release, so search Settings for Accessibility if the path differs.

The overlay permission is commonly available under Settings, Apps, Special access, Appear on top. Search for Appear on top when the menu structure on your Galaxy is different.

Long sessions

Review battery and screen-timeout behavior

If Samsung puts Phone Operator to sleep, review its battery usage settings and allow background activity only as needed for your supervised workflow. Menu wording varies, and broader battery access can increase energy use.

A long automation does not guarantee that the display stays awake. Adjust Samsung's screen-timeout setting yourself for the session and restore your preferred value afterward. Phone Operator does not silently change that system setting.

Troubleshooting

• If Start does nothing, return to Accessibility settings and confirm Phone Operator is still enabled.
• If markers vanish after switching apps, confirm Appear on top is allowed.
• If a run stops after several minutes, review Samsung battery restrictions and whether the screen locked.
• If the target moves after rotation or display zoom changes, stop and reposition every marker.
• If Samsung shows a permission warning, read it fully and enable the service only if you understand and accept how configured gestures are used.

Safety boundary

Use automation responsibly

Samsung's permission screens are a security boundary, not a step to rush through. Enable only the access you understand and disable it when you no longer need automation.

Do not automate payment, purchase, transfer, account-security, privacy-consent, or CAPTCHA screens. Do not use Phone Operator for fake engagement, cheating, bypassing safeguards, or any action that violates the rules of the target app. Stop whenever the screen is different from the one you tested.
