How Phone Operator works

Phone Operator works without root on Android 8+. Its Accessibility Service executes only user-configured gestures after you start them. The overlay is used for controls and markers, so you can position an action and keep Start, Pause, and Stop available above the target app.

Phone Operator does not collect, store, or upload screen content. Action positions, timing, ranges, and saved scripts remain on the device. Review the full privacy policy before enabling permissions.

Use Settings search when the path is different

Huawei menu names vary across EMUI version, device, and region. Search Settings for Accessibility, Draw over other apps, or Battery optimization when Phone Operator's shortcut opens a broader settings screen.

The overlay only displays controls and markers. Accessibility Service performs the user-configured gestures after Start. Recheck the permission that matches the observed symptom instead of enabling unrelated access.

Battery optimization

Exclude the app only when the system interrupts a run

Huawei's support documentation shows app-specific Draw over other apps and Battery optimization controls. If a supervised sequence stops after the app is backgrounded, search Battery optimization, inspect Phone Operator, and change only the app-specific setting needed for the test.

Relaxing battery optimization can increase power use and still does not guarantee that the display remains awake. Set screen timeout separately and keep long runs visible and supervised.

Troubleshooting

• If Phone Operator is absent from Accessibility, reopen the app and use its permission guide, then search Installed services or Downloaded apps.
• If the floating menu disappears, search Draw over other apps and recheck Phone Operator.
• If gestures stop in the background, inspect app-specific Battery optimization before changing broader power modes.
• If Google Play is unavailable on the device, do not download an unofficial APK from a third-party mirror.
• If a target screen is protected or blocks automation, stop rather than trying to bypass the restriction.

Use automation responsibly

Use only the official Google Play build and grant only the permissions described in the app. Do not weaken device-wide security controls for one automation workflow.

Do not automate payment, purchase, transfer, account-security, privacy-consent, or CAPTCHA screens. Do not use Phone Operator for fake engagement, cheating, bypassing safeguards, or any action that violates the rules of the target app. Stop whenever the screen is different from the one you tested.
